It's always been difficult to create three-dimensional objects in a two-dimensional space, such as Flash. But since Papervision3D was released in early 2007, Flash developers have been making some very cool sites. Here are a few award-winning sites:
This week we'll explore the Papervision3D's Basic View class that automatically creates the Viewport, Scene, Rendering Engine, and Camera for us. We'll also look at some of the primitive shapes (Plane and Sphere, to be specific) that are included in the library and some different ways of texturizing them using the Materials classes.
