Twelve Hours of Android Development Video

Last week Google released Android 2.2, an update to the popular Android mobile operating system, that promises to improve performance and add new features.

Although Google described Android 2.2 as a minor platform update, there are some big improvements in performance, including the introduction of Google's V8 JavaScript rendering engine, which is perhaps three times faster than the JavaScript rendering engine in 2.1.

Android 2.2 also includes a new feature that will allow users to submit application crash reports to developers. This data, which will be made available through Android Market publisher accounts, should help developers improve application quality and reliability while generating best practices that work in nearly any conditions.

Google also released updates to its Android software development kit to support the 2.2 platform. In honor of the new Android version, I have collected more than 12 hours worth of Android development videos and video tutorials.
