Great Site Design Helps to Sell Lawn and Garden Merchandise

Site design is an important part of an ecommerce project. In fact, consumers may judge a retailer solely on how attractive its site is.

With this in mind, I have put together a collection of several sites focused on selling lawn and garden merchandise. It is interesting that there are some common design themes, including color selection and motifs.

Granted, some of these vendors have been around (as brick & mortar stores) for many years. However, it's still amazing to me how well some of the comparatively smaller vendors do in online sales.

I agree that the design on a site matters! That's the first impression a customer will get when they land on the homepage and if they are turned off, a sale is lost. Reduce your bounce rate and spruce up your site a bit!
