Audio Interview: John McRee on Effective UI
This week three of the industry's most recognized user experience experts released a new book specifically to bridge the gap between growing expectations in user interface design and the relatively poor response rate many new websites or applications experience when launched.
In this audio interview, Ecommerce Developer's site director speaks with John McRee, one of the aforementioned authors of Effective UI from O'Reilly. McRee is a lead experience architect for EffectiveUI (the agency) and a long-time developer with experience in ecommerce.
In the interview, McRee describes the book, explains what drove him and co-authors Robb Wilson and Jonathan Anderson to write the book, and describes some of his personal philosophy on engaging project stakeholders and users.
