I am searching for the best way to send complete product information, details, prices, photos etc. to our online vendors. They range from small e comm companies to large companies like Amazon & Walmart.
We have 2500 products:
1) We currently submit via Excel spreadsheet 2) How can we automate this process for changes/updates? 2) I am aware of Channel Advisor but not ready at this point

There are really two routes to go: develop your own API to connect with these vendors, or subscribe to a third-party program like Channel Advisor.
My team and I developed our own API to interface with Google Shopping, PriceGrabber, etc… We researched each shopping comparison site to learn of their requirements, as such, we had to build a unique feed for each site (since each site requires different data/feed formats).
It took some time to build, but now that we have the system foundation, it is easier for us to customize it for other sites. It’s hard to say what will be more profitable; to build it yourself or use a third-party.
